Bill is an educator, attorney, and Teach For America alum who has worked in a variety of roles in urban education and family advocacy. Bill began his career teaching high school history, government, and economics in New York City Public Schools. In 2012-2013, he completed the Building Excellent Schools Fellowship, a yearlong training program on school design and leadership. In addition to his work as a teacher, Bill has served as a History Department Chair, Grade Team Leader, TFA Content Specialist, and Dean of Students. He earned a BA at Bates College, an MST in Education at Pace University, and a JD at Brooklyn Law School, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law and Policy.
