The Springfield Prep school day runs from 7:55 AM through 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. School is dismissed at 12:30 PM on Fridays so that teachers have time to meet, plan, and receive professional development training.

The 2023-24 school year calendar is here. Kindergarten begins on Thursday, August 24th. All other grades (1-8) start on Monday, August 28th.
Open house will be held on Thursday, August 22nd — we will share more information with families directly.

Friday, August 25th - Kindergarten ONLY (12:30 dismissal)
Monday, August 28th - All Grades (3:30 dismissal)

Yes, uniforms are required (except when students earn a dress-down day).
Please see our Uniform Guide (in English/en español) for details. Gym uniforms with the Springfield Prep logo are required as well. School and Gym Uniforms can be ordered from Blakes School using this form: Uniform Order Form, online at www.blakesschooluniform.com, or in-store at 1205 Parker Street, Springfield, MA 01129.

Transportation information, including bus stops and arrival/dismissal maps, will be shared the week before school starts. Please see below for transportation-related forms. The school does not yet have bus stop information from the transportation provider.

No! Springfield Prep is a CEP school, which means all of our students will receive breakfast, lunch, and snacks each day, free of charge. For more information about CEP please see this notice.
