Kamalani Yuen

Elementary Academic Dean

Kamalani began her career at Springfield Prep as an Associate Teacher in 2019 and has since taught 3rd grade, mentored new Associate Teachers, served as a Grade Level Chair, and worked as an Instructional Coach. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Springfield College. She also founded and coaches the Springfield Prep Middle School Soccer Team. In 2025, Kamalani was honored with the Pioneer Valley Excellence in Teaching Award. She is passionate about meeting the needs of every student and is excited to continue teaching 3rd grade while expanding her impact as an Upper Elementary Academic Dean at Springfield Prep.
