Dear Springfield Prep Community,
We are very pleased to share an important leadership update as Springfield Prep looks ahead to its next chapter.
After a rigorous and thorough search process, the Board of Trustees is thrilled to announce that it has selected Meghan Wagner, the school’s Chief Operating & Financial Officer, as Springfield Prep Charter School’s next Executive Director, effective April 1, 2026.
Meghan brings more than fifteen years of leadership experience in public education and is known for her collaborative problem-solving approach, ability to bring people together, and consistent focus on results for students and families. Since coming to Springfield Prep ten years ago, Meghan has led Springfield Prep’s operations, finance, and HR work. She has played a key role in the school’s growth by managing the school’s budget, overseeing the construction of our new school building, and leading important teacher, staff, and student initiatives. All along, she has supported instructional leaders in leading a student-centered, data-driven approach to learning.
Throughout the selection process, Meghan demonstrated a strong record of achieving results for students and families, deep alignment with Springfield Prep’s mission and values, and the ability to lead complex systems with clarity, steadiness, and care. The Board is confident in her readiness to lead and her commitment to sustaining what is working well while continuing to strengthen the school for the future.
Between now and April 1, Meghan will work closely with Founder and Executive Director Bill Spirer and the Board to ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition, with a continued focus on stability and excellence for students, families, and staff.
We are grateful to our community for its partnership and support, and we look forward to continuing to work together in the months ahead as Springfield Prep enters this next chapter of leadership.

Nos complace mucho compartir una importante noticia de liderazgo mientras Springfield Prep mira hacia su próximo capítulo.
Después de un proceso de búsqueda riguroso y exhaustivo, la Junta Directiva se complace en anunciar que ha seleccionado a Meghan Wagner, - quien es ahora la Directora de Operaciones y Finanzas de la escuela, como la próxima Directora Ejecutiva de Springfield Prep Charter School, con inicio a partir del 1 de abril de 2026.
Meghan cuenta con más de quince años de experiencia en liderazgo en la educación pública y es reconocida por su enfoque colaborativo para la resolución de problemas, su capacidad para unir a las personas y su enfoque constante en lograr resultados para estudiantes y familias. Desde que se unió a Springfield Prep hace diez años, Meghan ha liderado las áreas de operaciones, finanzas y recursos humanos. - Ha jugado un papel importante en el crecimiento de la escuela al encargarse de las finanzas de la escuela , supervisar la construcción de nuestro nuevo edificio escolar y liderar importantes iniciativas para maestros, personal y estudiantes. A lo largo de este tiempo, también ha apoyado a los líderes académicos en la implementación de un enfoque de aprendizaje centrado en los estudiantes y basado en el uso de datos.
A lo largo del proceso de selección, Meghan demostró un sólido historial de logro de resultados para estudiantes y familias, una profunda alineación con la misión y los valores de Springfield Prep, y la capacidad de liderar sistemas complejos con claridad, estabilidad y cuidado. La Junta Directiva confía plenamente en su preparación para liderar la escuela y en su compromiso de mantener lo que ya funciona bien, al mismo tiempo que continúa fortaleciendo la escuela de cara al futuro.
Entre ahora y el 1 de abril, Meghan trabajará -de cerca con el fundador y Director Ejecutivo, Bill Spirer, y con la Junta Directiva para garantizar una transición fluida y reflexiva, manteniendo un enfoque continuo en la estabilidad y la excelencia para estudiantes, familias y personal.
