High School Success Program

High School and College Readiness

At Springfield Prep, high school and college readiness are key aspects of our mission to prepare each student for success. We believe that achievement and the pursuit of higher education are indeed obtainable for each and every one of our scholars, including yours. By keeping the end goal — college — in sight from the start, we commit to your student’s success in the long term.

The transition to high school is a crucial one. At a time when families may be overwhelmed by all of the available options, we are committed to supporting each student and family’s unique needs and to help address any challenges that may arise throughout the transition process.

High School Success Program

Our High School Success Program gives scholars and families the resources needed to make informed, careful decisions when applying to high school. Students and families will be provided information regarding high school options, the enrollment process for area high schools, tours of (and presentations by) select high schools, reminders of key dates throughout the application season, and more. Current students and families may access our High School Success Program materials here.

Having a trusted resource to direct your questions to is really important. Our High School Advisor is available to support students and families throughout this process.

High School Ready Habits

Preparing our eighth graders for high school means equipping them with the habits and skills required to succeed once they are there. In our middle school, we focus on developing the four essential habits of organization, excellence, perseverance, and advocacy to ensure that they are prepared to for the excitement, challenge, and opportunity they will find in high school and college.

Where do Springfield Prep Students Attend High School?

Alumni Support Program

Springfield Prep’s Alumni Support Program ensures that our commitment to students doesn’t end at 8th grade. As graduates move into high school and beyond, we stay connected through mentoring, guidance, and regular check-ins that help students navigate new academic, social, and personal challenges. The program builds on the strong relationships students form with Springfield Prep staff, offering trusted adults who continue to encourage, support, and advocate for them. We also host regular events throughout the year to reinforce the special sense of community students experience at SPCS and to help alumni maintain positive peer connections. Together, these supports help our graduates stay on track, feel connected, and continue thriving long after they leave our classrooms.
